MIR originates from 2011 and was given a Russian name which means earth and peace. The ensemble consists of the clarinetist Mutsumi Watanabe, born in Japan, the violist Ioan Haffner, the cellist Alexis Bove, both born in France and the pianist Rutger de Ronde, born in the Netherlands.
Despite the different nationalities and cultures, they share a special, personal and musical bond which allows them to show the different atmospheres, structures and rhythmic patterns that the music owns, with great connectivity and passion. Due to the big range of repertoire, MIR appears on stage in different forms without the loss of the connection towards the music. |
